Refunds, Cancellations & Returns Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, postponements, and event changes are handled for tickets purchased on ticket.shortfundly.com (“Shortfundly Ticket”). Unless expressly stated, Shortfundly is the ticketing platform and not the event producer; organizer/venue policies shown on each event page form part of your contract.

1. General Rule — All Sales May Be Final

Unless the event page or checkout explicitly allows cancellations or refunds, ticket purchases are generally non-refundable. Please review the event’s refund/cancellation terms before paying.

2. Organizer-Defined Refund Windows

  • If self-service cancellation is enabled, a “Cancel” button will appear in Orders/Bookings until the cutoff time.
  • Refund eligibility, deductions (if any), and deadlines are determined by the organizer’s policy and applicable law.
  • Platform/service/convenience fees are typically non-refundable unless required by law or explicitly stated otherwise.

3. Postponement, Reschedule, or Cancellation by Organizer

  • Postponed/Rescheduled: Your ticket may be auto-valid for the new date/time, or you may be offered an option to transfer or request a refund per organizer policy.
  • Cancelled: You may receive a refund (ticket price and applicable taxes; platform fees as per policy/law). We will notify you via email/SMS with next steps.
  • Keep your contact details up to date to receive timely updates.

4. Failed Purchase or Duplicate Charge

  • If payment succeeded but no ticket was issued, the order is usually auto-reversed or refunded after gateway settlement.
  • For duplicate charges, contact support with the payment reference/UTR; once verified, the duplicate will be refunded.

5. No-Show, Late Arrival & Entry Refusal

  • No refunds for no-shows or late arrivals where entry has closed or seating has commenced.
  • Entry is subject to venue security, age restrictions, and house rules. Refusal due to policy breach typically does not qualify for a refund.

6. Refund Method & Timelines

  • Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method only.
  • Bank/gateway timelines vary; typically 5–7 business days after approval. Certain instruments can take longer per issuer policy.
  • For UPI, the refund posts to the linked bank account of the UPI ID used.

7. Partial Refunds, Fees & Deductions

  • Organizer may deduct charges (e.g., cancellation fee) if disclosed on the event page/checkout.
  • Platform/service fees and convenience charges are usually non-refundable unless required by law or clearly promised otherwise.

8. Chargebacks & Disputes

Please contact us first to resolve issues quickly. Unfounded chargebacks for valid orders may result in account restrictions and recovery of associated fees where permitted by law.

9. Force Majeure

Neither Shortfundly nor the organizer is liable for delays or non-performance caused by events beyond reasonable control (e.g., extreme weather, strikes, governmental orders, pandemics).

  • Go to Orders/Bookings → select the order → choose Cancel (if available).
