Terms and Conditions

This website, ticket.shortfundly.com (the “Site”), is owned and operated by Shortfundly Pvt Ltd (“Shortfundly”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By accessing or using the Site, mobile experiences, and related services for discovering events and booking tickets (collectively, the “Services”), you (“you”, “user”, or “end user”) agree to these Terms and Conditions (the “Terms” or this “Agreement”). If you do not agree, do not access or use the Site.

Shortfundly operates a ticketing and payments platform that allows event organizers to list shows and sell tickets. Unless expressly stated, Shortfundly is not the producer, organizer, or promoter of events and is not responsible for the conduct of organizers/venues. Organizer/venue terms, policies, and restrictions shown on an event page form part of your contract.

Eligibility & Account

You must be legally capable of entering into binding contracts and comply with applicable laws. You may need an account to purchase or manage tickets. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify [email protected] of any unauthorized use.

Ticket Purchase & Contract

By placing an order, you make an offer to purchase tickets for the specified event. We (as agent for the organizer, where applicable) accept your offer when we send a confirmation email/SMS and make the e-ticket/QR available in your account (“Order Confirmation”). Your contract for attendance is primarily with the event organizer/venue; Shortfundly provides the booking and payment rails.

Pricing, Taxes & Fees

Ticket prices are set by the organizer and may be subject to taxes (e.g., GST) and a platform/service/convenience fee. The checkout page displays a price breakdown before payment. Unless otherwise required by law, platform/service fees are non-refundable. GST invoices are provided where the organizer has enabled GST; download from your Orders/Bookings page or the confirmation email link.

Payments

We use secure, PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways. Available methods may include UPI, credit/debit cards, net-banking, and wallets (availability can vary). You authorize us or our payment partners to charge your selected method for the total displayed. Orders may be cancelled or reversed if payment is declined, flagged as suspicious, or otherwise fails.

Order Confirmation & E-Ticket Delivery

After successful payment, you will receive an Order Confirmation via email/SMS and your e-ticket/QR will be accessible in your account. If you do not receive a confirmation within a reasonable time, check spam/junk and verify your contact details. You can re-download tickets from the Orders/Bookings page. Seat Selection & Admission

Some events offer seat-mapped selection; others are general admission. Your ticket grants a revocable license to attend the event at the stated time and venue. Entry is subject to organizer/venue policies, age restrictions, security checks, and government guidelines. Carry a valid photo ID if required. Late entry may be refused or delayed at the venue’s discretion.

Event Changes, Postponement & Cancellation

The organizer may alter the program, cast, venue, seating layout, or schedule. If an event is postponed or cancelled, the organizer’s policy governs your options (e.g., automatic reschedule, ticket transfer, or refund). We will notify you via email/SMS using the contact details provided at purchase and reflect updates in your order. Keep your contact information current.

Refunds, Cancellations & Exchanges

All sales are final unless the organizer’s policy states otherwise on the event page or checkout. If self-service cancellation is permitted, you will see a “Cancel” option in Orders/Bookings until the stated cutoff. Refund amounts (if any), timelines, and deductions are determined by the organizer’s policy and applicable law. Platform/service fees are typically non-refundable unless required by law. Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method; bank timelines may vary (generally 5–7 business days).

Ticket Transfers & Resale

Ticket transfers are allowed only if the organizer enables the feature. Where allowed, you can initiate transfers from your Orders/Bookings page. Unauthorized resale, scalping, duplication, tampering, or commercial use of tickets is prohibited and may void entry without refund.

User Conduct

You agree not to misuse the Site, interfere with transactions, circumvent security, or engage in fraudulent or unlawful activity. You will not post or transmit harmful code, attempt to scrape or harvest data, or use automated tools (bots, crawlers) except as permitted by robots.txt or our prior written consent.

Content & Intellectual Property

The Site and its content, including trademarks, logos, text, graphics, and software, are owned by Shortfundly or its licensors and are protected by law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without authorization. Event listings, images, and descriptions may be provided by organizers; organizers warrant they have rights to such content.

Third-Party Services

Payment gateways, mapping, communications, or other integrated services are provided by third parties. We are not responsible for third-party failures, delays, or inaccuracies. Your use of third-party services may be subject to their terms and privacy policies.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how we use it, including sharing limited details with organizers to fulfill your booking. By using the Services, you consent to our data practices. Refer to our Privacy Policy for details and your rights.

Chargebacks & Disputes

If you dispute a charge, contact us first so we can assist with verification and resolution. Unfounded chargebacks for valid orders may result in account suspension and recovery of chargeback fees and losses to the extent permitted by law.

Warranty Disclaimer

THE SITE AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED. EVENT QUALITY, SAFETY, AND FULFILLMENT ARE THE ORGANIZER’S RESPONSIBILITY.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SHORTFUNDFLY PVT LTD AND ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS/REVENUE/GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR DIRECT DAMAGES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL FEES PAID TO US FOR THE TRANSACTION GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Shortfundly, its directors, employees, and affiliates from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, violation of laws, or infringement of third-party rights.

Force Majeure

We and organizers are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, government action, pandemics, strikes, lockouts, power failures, or telecommunications disruptions.

Modification & Suspension

We may modify these Terms or any part of the Services at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We may suspend or terminate access (with or without notice) for suspected fraud, policy violations, or security risks.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Agreement is governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable consumer protection laws, the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu, shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the Services.
